March 2nd: Well, its good to be back after a few weeks absence. I fell behind in journaling and diet email because of my new job schedule. I'm finally adjusting to getting up at 5am, and hopefully will be able to get back on track this month! My birthday is March 10th, and I'd like to be on a downward slope for my 29th birthday present! ;)
March 18th: Greetings to all...yes, I am still alive. I just can't seem to get into the "diet" mode these days...and along with this funk I've been in, I haven't been journaling or even reading much of my email lately either. I'm feeling pretty miserable, weight creeping up faster than I was ever able to take it off...I'm going to make an appointment with an endocrinologist now that we've got health insurance and see if there is a metabolic disorder which keeps me from losing weight if I consume over 1200 calories a day. I know I did my body a severe disorder by limiting myself to 500 calories a day...but that was two years ago, and I'd think my metabolism would start to creep back up eventually. *sigh*
March 24th: Tomorrow I have an appointment with my medical doctor and I'm going to talk to him about the metabolic problems I've had over the last year and a half. I'm hoping they can find a medical problem for my 130 lb weight gain over the last 18 months, and maybe they'll be able to correct it. If not, I think the next option I may look into is surgical procedures to take the weight off. At this rate it would be worth $20,000 to have my stomach removed so I couldn't eat. =P
March 26th: Yesterday I went to the doctors and he ordered blood work to check my thyroid function. I'm hoping that it gives me some answers as to why its so hard for me to lose weight, and why I'm gaining weight at such a fast pace.
March 30th: Same ole' Same ole' diet problems...I just can't seem to do anything right when it comes to this healthy eating/losing weight attempt. I'm really looking forward to going to the weight loss program through the doctor's office. Maybe they can help me somehow.
